How long does it take to launch?

Most sites go live within 1–2 weeks of confirming your content and brand details. Larger builds with automations take a little longer.

What counts as an update?

Normal updates are things like text changes, swapping images, updating contact details, prices or opening hours, and small edits to existing pages. Full redesigns, brand new pages, and major new functionality sit outside normal updates and are quoted before any work starts.

Are copywriting and photos included?

We help organise and refine the content you provide — tidying up your wording, structuring pages, and preparing your images for the web. Professional photography and large copywriting projects (for example, writing a full site from scratch) are not included and are quoted separately before we begin.

How many revisions are included?

The initial build includes two rounds of revisions after you see the first design, plus a final round of small tweaks before launch. Anything beyond that, or changes that alter the agreed scope, is quoted first so there are no surprises.

Do I own the website?

You own your content, brand assets and domain from day one. The website itself stays hosted and managed by Built Proper while you're subscribed. After 12 continuous months you can receive ownership of the website.

What happens if I cancel before 12 months?

The website is taken offline at the end of your billing period and ownership does not transfer, unless we agree on another arrangement in writing. Your domain and content always remain yours.

Who owns the domain?

You should own your domain — we recommend it's registered in your business name. We can help you register, connect and manage it, and it stays yours whether you're subscribed or not.

Are automation software costs included?

The setup work is included in the Website + automation plan. Some third-party platforms used for messaging, bookings or email may charge their own usage or subscription fees. We explain any of these costs to you before setup, so you can decide.

What does SEO include?

Basic SEO covers page titles, meta descriptions, mobile responsiveness, sensible page structure, image optimisation, sitemap setup, and support getting your pages indexed by search engines. We can't promise specific search rankings — no one honestly can.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes — no lock-in contracts, just one month's notice. Because your site is fully managed and hosted by us, it goes offline once your subscription ends.
